What We Believe
We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and His only perfect revelation of Himself to man.
All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)

There is only one living true God. He reveals Himself to us as the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. 1 Corinthians 8:6 (ESV)  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19 (ESV)

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born to the Virgin Mary.
"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel" (which means, God with us). Matthew 1:23 (ESV) but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus. Matthew 1:25 (ESV)

Salvation involves the redemption of man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
8  For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9  not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10 (ESV)

Once saved, all are kept by God's power and are secure in Christ forever.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one." John 10:27-30 (ESV)

Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior; the believers death to sin; the burial of the life; and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.
And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?" Acts 8:36 (ESV)  And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8:39 (ESV)

The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby Christians memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (ESV)
